About Cleveland Child Care

Minimum Qualifications (Required to Apply)
Applicants must have:
- A High School Diploma or GED
PLUS one of the following for Leads:- A completed CDA Credential (or currently working toward one)
- OR an Associate’s Degree or higher in a related field
Additional Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year classroom experience required
- Resume must reflect child care work history
- Applicants with less than 1 year of experience will not be considered
- Must be able to pass a background check
Responsibilities
As a Lead Preschool Teacher, responsibilities include:
- Implementing age-appropriate curriculum
- Creating engaging lesson plans
- Supporting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom
- Communicating effectively with families
- Collaborating with team members
- Observing and supporting each child’s individual needs
Preferred Experience For Lead Teachers
- Familiarity with Creative Curriculum
- Experience using TS GOLD Assessment System
